Overall, our church's family winter retreat at the George Williams College Conferece Center was a great experience. We returned to GWC after being at another location for a few years. We were absolutely overwhelmed by the hospitality, friendliness and flexability of the staff. The service was excellent and everyone was made to feel quite welcome on campus. There were no exceptions to that experience. What an incredibly staff. In addition, it is a lovely campus, and the renovations in recent years have made it even more so. GWC is a great location and we plan to return next year.

The Bruner family is really appreciative of the kitchen staff.  They have ALWAYS been courteous and helpful over the years; but this year we really felt they went all out for us!  We actually have one vegetarian in our group, and several who are leaning in that direction, and the kitchen staff went out of their way to tell us that if we wanted a vegetarian (or something with less cholesterol), to just let them know.  So, we appreciated the accommodations of our food preferences. 

AND they really made some delicious desserts for our two Bruner birthday celebrations!  Chocolate cake for Micah (age 4) and strawberry-rhubarb pie for David (age 31).  Hats off to Marilyn for her wonderful baking.  We women among us especially appreciate how unflapped the kitchen staff is by huge numbers of ravenous folks going through the lines, and how untiringly cheerful and gracious they all are.  I don’t remember all their names, and apologies to any we leave out, but kudos to them all (Ella, Melinda, Marilyn, the slender brunette with glasses, and the grad student at W. Va). Thanks, too, for continuing to provide plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Dear Mr. Frederick,

I am from Arkansas and last week I was on vacation visiting my brother and his family in Lake Geneva. We decided to play golf at George Williams College Golf Course and had the best time. The gentleman working at the clubhouse was so nice and accommodating. 

I appreciate the fact that you provide a nice course at affordable rates that families can enjoy. I look forward to my next trip to Lake Geneva and a round of golf at George Williams College.
